Matthew P. McKay
Matt is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography, Geology and Planning at Missouri State University. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Geology and Geography at West Virginia University before working as a geologist with the Geological Survey of Alabama. Matt’s research seeks to understand the linkages between tectonic processes by unraveling the sedimentary record. He specializes in geochronology, stratigraphy, structural geology, and petrology, and his field areas include South Africa, the U.S. Pacific Northwest, and the southern U.S.
